Syria Today

The axiom that the Middle East is going through a civil war of regionalisation, as defined by the five stages of empire, continues to  be an accurate and prophetic model for the unfolding of events in the region. This process, although apparently chaotic, is one whose hidden drive is determining the style of leadership and values that will ultimately unite and characterize the region. It is a Darwinist, brutal process that is still in its relatively early stages.
